PROSTITUTE AT AGE 18!

The following is based on real life story. Janet a prostitute at age 18 decided to share her life’s story (name changed for privacy purposes)
The following are viewed as vices in our society; Prostitution, Abortion, Deadbeat relatives not to mention many more.
However, some people live as culprits of practicing the vices. A situation they have to fight for the rest of their lives with consequences thereafter being mental, emotional or even physical.
As it is all known to everyone, life is not fair. It’s a jungle where every species struggle for survival or else be wiped out from the face of the earth by nightmares such as poverty, overdue bills, lack of basic needs, that being food shelter clothing, and most of all failing those who look up to you for survival.
Janet, 18 years old is a form three high school drop out who has been in prostitution for 4 months now. She told me its her friend who lured her to indulge into prostitution. At the time her friend approached her she had not much of a choice. But it all started somewhere.
Janet is a victim of irresponsible teenage sex. It dawned on her that she was 4 months pregnant while she was still in high school in form three. The pregnancy sparked a lot of pressure, criticism from her older siblings. She dropped out of school and unlike many other girls in our society, she decided to carry her pregnancy to term.
Janet who is an orphan is the last born in their family.
Janet, now a mother got a helping hand from her grandmother who offered to stay with her child while she went to fend for money for her child upkeep.
With the help of her older brother, Janet rented a house in one of Nairobi’s slums. Her brother who was working supported her financially while she was searching for a job. After 2 months without getting a job, things got worse when her brother lost his job. Janet, her child, her other siblings and her grandmother had no one looking after them since her brother, their breadwinner had lost his job. Getting a job for Janet got hard since she had no qualification. That is when her friend approached her and told her of a job in town. Janet had no choice since things had gotten too hard for her.
Janet prepared and accompanied her friend to Nairobi CBD where she would be shown the ‘job’ That was the day Janet became a commercial sex worker at age 18!
Four months down the line Janet is still into prostitution with the hope of ‘things getting better’. She is now glad her child can dress well and live a good life.

I classify it a case of Choices Vs Circumstances!

SHOCKING STATISTICS OF A CAMPUS LADY

Here is shocking data on the number of males who get laid by an average campus girl.
The content is explicit. Any liability it may cause such as divorce or break ups as at the reader’s risk. The statistics and data has been collected on many campuses across the country, that including both public and private colleges.
During the first year of enrollment, a campus girl is usually naïve and easy to spot out, this leaves her prone to all the dangers awaiting; team mafisi, fellow freshmen, lecturers and sponsors.
The newly enrolled campus girl it hit up by 4 guys mostly 3rd and 4th years during her first semester of refreshment. In her second semester of refreshment she gets banged up by 3 males. This makes her  body count 7.
She then breaks for holiday and makes a re-union with her high school boyfriend, she usually cheats on her with one male during the holiday span. This brings the body count to 9.
The campus girl resumes to school for her second year. She gets hooked up by 3 males not to mention she has already started dating with sponsors who fund her, on average 2 father daddies, bringing the body count to 14. She then breaks for her second holiday where an average of 2 males get laid by her, raising body count to 16. The campus girl resumes for her 3rd year and 4th year studies. Sponsors and one night stands are a more frequent culture as her legs are used to getting apart that she no longer cares. She helps curb dry spells to an average of 4 males in each academic year 3rd and 4th year respectively, this consequently boosts the body count to 24.
After graduation the campus girl gets run over by an average of 3 males; her senior manager, a guy she met at a pub, and a one night stand. Her body count goes up, to 27. Then she meets the man of her dreams, body count still counting! This is for an average reserved campus girl, for those who are addicted to getting into the sheets the body count may be somewhere around 40.
Guys, before you marry a campus girl never ever ask her about her past or you will be in for a shock but be aware her body count is somewhere slightly  above your age or your age and her body count are even.

WHY UON SHOULD NOT BE RANKED #1 IN AFRICA

Have it in mind that the University of Nairobi is ranked #7 in the list of the top best universities in Africa, the leading in Eastern Africa and its environs of course. Migrants from abroad share the joy of learning in such a top flight Institution, thanks to scholarship forums. Every Kenyan wishes to study in a world class university whose vision is “Towards World Class Excellence.” Surely a harbor for the Crème de la Crème
Every elite person from any palm of the world ought to know the University of Nairobi and the Liberal Republic of Kenya. It is a pot of knowledge. Revolutionary and philanthropist Nelson Mandela once said “Education is the Key.” So, a moment of silence to the University of Nairobi for the many lives it has changed positively and still counting.
Being a public center of knowledge, hygiene should be a key pillar towards becoming a World class University. However, this is not the case. A dead rat smells. Someone somewhere does not do their work. The state of some of the student’s hostels is horrifying. The washrooms have become a nightmare. Sick smell embraces oneself near the entrance of the washrooms which are just next to the staircases, poor construction plan maybe. The structures are old and tattered, sinks have broken down and the walls shattered. The washrooms are always flooded, overflowing with urine maybe owing to the fact that most urinals have clogged. Bathrooms are substandard and one must assume an upright posture not to come into contact with the walls when bathing from a bucket given showers are rare to find. Bowl toilets mark another grave mistake; the flushing tabs have broken down so the toilet bowls fill up with human excreta which make one choke in the filthy effluent. Squatting toilets may be a remedy.
Something needs to be done before it becomes a center of an outbreak, cholera maybe. This should be considered one of the many reasons why Obama wouldn’t come to University of Nairobi.
As Kenya is gearing up towards being a developed country by 2030, Renovation should be ringing its bells in this learning center!
This should be a wake up!
Here are the photos of the poor state of the hostels in.....

CHOICES

Everyone has a choice!
Choices are made out of someone's own will and their likes. What may look dull to you may be the source of happiness to someone else.Take for instance movies:Animated movies may be the source of happiness to a die hard fan of animation movies, they however may look stupid in the eyes of someone who's not into them.
If you find happiness in something you like, nothing else matters.Don't let someone else kill your vibe or destroy your happiness by criticizing you out of your own choice.May it be Nolly wood,Bollywood,Hollywood movies, whatever genre of music or anything else you do and find happiness in;do whatever that makes you happy.
If you are doing something because of influence or you don't want to look stupid,it is time you step out of other people's world and start living your life.Make your own choice!

LETTER TO JACQUELINE

 Dear Jacqueline
This will be my last letter this year. I did not write
to you as much as I did last year… or the year
before. I hope this pattern does not leak into 2015.
Our love should be growing and not otherwise.
As I write this, I am seated on a wooden chair at
the verandah of my cousins 'thingira’ (A thingira is a
house built by kikuyu      young men in their fathers compound
when they come of age) listening to Sauti sol's sura yako. The grass is wet and the ground
murky with mud and cow defecate. The air is fresh
and virgin with a few bird chirps. It is by all
standards – relaxing! It was a bit scary as our
Prado danced in the mud on our way here in the
middle of the night in the middle of wild tea
plantations the night before — but it was worth it!
2014 has been a great year… Everyone says that.
My M – Ledger says otherwise though. The most
memorable bit of 2014 was shaking Jeff koinange ‘s hand. It happened in a fragment of a
second. My heart almost stopped with excitement.

THE EARTH KIND OF LIFE

Not a place to play hide and seek
Not a season to run up and about
Not an ideal kind of home
Less money, more problems
More money, less fine
Really mother earth?
Not a plant you can't grow
Not a baby you can't make
Not a disease you can't get
Not a mistake you can't make
And definitely, not a soul you can trust
Karma is the worst huh?
Be warned of the stars
Be warned of the sun
Be warned of your heart
You are your worst enemy.

NOWHERE TO HIDE

Today
Today is just that day
When I dread to feel that way
When I want to sob all day
When I hope for everything to be okay
When my gut's suicidal all day
I actually want this bad
If not, I might just go nuts
Dipping my feet in sand
Wishing to hide my emotions
Maybe even forget the repercussions
Absorb myself in nasty relations
And maybe
Just maybe
I might get the amnesia
Forget all like Philicia
My troubles, my tribulations.
                            Composed by Watenga Dx

DISAPPEARED KNIGHT

The best I ever felt
The smile never left
The heart never slept
The dimple never rest
Humbly you walked
Lovely you looked
Sweetly you talked
The best I ever had
My sweet love
My adorable amor
My loving knight
Where did you go?
                            Composed by Watenga Dx

POSSIBLE POSSIBILITIES

Maybe the problem isnt the intensity of our love
Maybe the problem is the quality of the people that we love
Maybe the problem isnt the lack of many similarities
Maybe the problem is the differences themselves
Maybe the problem isnt how much we care
Maybe the problem is caring too much
Maybe the problem isnt how much tears we shed
Maybe the problem is why we shed them
Maybe the problem isnt the intimacy we share
Maybe the problem is how intimate we take intimacy.
                           Composed by Watenga Dx.

THE GUY AT THE BAR

Amidst the ups and downs
Deserting my so called friends
Capturing the latest in town
My eyes got him found
A silhouette in the crowd
Captioning him too
Got myself tipsy too
Making out like sweet sixteen
The dancefloor soon to us
The amusement mine to nurse
Couldn't even trace my purse
Something about your eyes
...he said
The night was no longer young
Should we stick around for some more?
Should we get a cab home?
...
The guy at the bar.

Reasons to smoke Marijuana

THC, the principal psychoactive
constituent of the cannabis plant has low toxicity , the dose of THC needed to kill 50% of tested rodents is very high, furthermore there is no existing evidence of anyone dying of a marijuana overdose.
Cannabis can be used for recreational purposes which can include heightened mood or euphoria and relaxation.
Marijuana also spurs creativity in the brain.
Marijuana increases appetite so if you're one of those people with less appetite why not try a blunt or two?
Cannabis has been used medicinally to reduce nausea and vomiting in chemotherapy and people with AIDS , and to treat pain and muscle spasticity.

How To Power Nap

Whether you're nodding off during the
afternoon slump at the office, working
a double or a night shift , or fighting
drowsiness while driving, a power-nap
can make you more alert and

correctly. Scientists have been
studying the power-nap -- when to
take it, how to take it, what to take
before you take it, and so on. Their
findings suggest that the following
steps will help you get the most power
