WORK ETHICS:A TIP FOR MANAGERS

We've all heard or experienced cases of relationships gone sour between workers and their employees. This may lead to heated up conflicts due to anger and or self-denial.
Inbound office logistics are sensitive matters which need to be handled systematically and with a lot of care.

Termination of workers should not be handled casually.Cases of managers directing their secretaries to write termination letters to their fellow employees have been a common norm. This is a norm that should be stopped as the information may leak and  the employee in question may have word that they are being terminated. For those weak in spirit, they may commit suicide, those who don't respect sanctity of life may even go farther and cause harm to their employers.
The question therefore as a manager is:HOW DO YOU DO IT?
:HOW DO YOU EASE AN EMPLOYEE OUT?

As a manager when it comes to termination of workers, the first step that should be taken is to contact the employee in question, and engage them in a one-on-one conversation be it in your office or any other appropriate place. There you can 'spill the beans' and also get to hear their side of the story. You can give them hope by offering to write them a recommendation letter, or  even try and organize chances for them in either your friends companies. In that way you will have terminated the worker humanely and also prepared them psychologically.
Termination is surely dreaded by most people.
